An 8” x 10” commissioned piece is $65 and includes shipping in a non bending envelope or local delivery.

 

All portraits are done on high quality acid free paper (specify white, beige or blue) which will not stain or age. 

 

Larger size commissions, custom matting and framing is also available.

 

To order a portrait please: 

1) E-mail an electronic image (.jpg, .gif, .psd, .bmp, .pdf, .tif or .pcx) that has no visible pixilation when viewed as a 8” x 10” to orderinfo@palaceportrayal.com

2) Send quality photo(s) in a non bending container of the location that are at least 3" x 5" which will be returned in original condition with the final piece.

3) Request Jalal to come out and take digital photos of the building/ location for a $10 fee + $0.50 per mile from 75 & 35E in Dallas, TX. 

                         SUBMISSION TIPS

 

· Pictures should be chosen that are not “busy” and show the building/location clearly with good light and a strong definition of the building’s lines. Note: I usually do not include all background    objects to ensure the best composition.

 

· Avoid pictures with lighting that darkens or hides features unless you want the piece drawn that way. Unfortunately I can only draw what I am able to clearly see in the image sent.

 

· Review the sample pieces on the website. Remember, the smaller and less detailed the building is the cleaner and less busy the portrait will be.

 

· Finally, remember art is not static. Try to chose a picture that you feel represents the character of the location or building. It will make for a much more interesting portrait.
